Secrets of Krabi: hot springs, jungle lakes and the Tiger Cave temple

Emerald and Blue lakes, a hot waterfall, 1,260 steps to a mountaintop temple and a singing cave

    One day, 05:00–17:40Up to 40 peoplefrom 2,500 ฿

The inland counterweight to the boat days. Everything here is green and wet rather than blue and salty: old rainforest at Bang Khram, a lake of warm mineral water you can swim in, a second lake that glows turquoise and is only for looking at, a waterfall that runs hot straight out of the jungle. The centrepiece is the Tiger Cave temple, where 1,260 steps climb to a view over the whole plain — and where nobody makes you climb if you would rather walk the monastery below.

    Questions we get asked

How hard are the 1,260 steps?

They are steep and it is hot, and most people take around an hour up. It is entirely optional: the monastery, the caves and the shade at the bottom are worth the stop on their own.

Can you swim in both lakes?

Swimming is at the Emerald lake and the hot springs. The Blue lake is a viewing and photo stop only.

Is this a good alternative when the sea is rough?

Yes. Nothing in this day depends on boats, so it runs on days when the island trips are cancelled.

Is an English-speaking guide available on this tour?

Yes, the tour includes an English-speaking guide.

Are national park fees included in the price?

Yes, national park fees are included in the price.

How do I book Secrets of Krabi?

Send the tour, the date, your hotel and everyone's ages in WhatsApp. Pickup is between 05:00 and 06:00 and we confirm the time; payment by card online is agreed in the chat once the booking is confirmed.

What is the child price for Secrets of Krabi?

Children aged 4 to 9 pay the child price shown in the price table, and from ten the adult price applies. Children under four travel free, without a separate seat or meals.
