Visa Runs and Airport Fast Track from Phuket

These two are services, not sightseeing: a minibus run to the Malaysian border for a new stamp, and VIP help at Phuket airport. The Satun border run costs 3,800 ฿ per person with meals and the stamp fee included. Airport fast track is 4,500 ฿ on arrival and 5,000 ฿ on departure.

What does the 3,800 ฿ Satun border run include?
Everything you would otherwise pay for separately. The minibus leaves Phuket at 23:30–00:00 and drives south through the night to the crossing in Satun province. Breakfast and lunch are part of the price, and so is the 1,500 ฿ fee for the 30-day stamp — the other 2,300 ฿ is the trip itself. You are back on Phuket at about 15:00.

Satun or Ranong?
Satun is the one to pick if you want to be back the same day: midnight start, home by mid-afternoon. Ranong is the second crossing we book. It costs 5,000 ฿, leaves at 03:30–05:00 in a minibus, and lunch and the stamp are included.
Ranong has no page of its own. Book it on the Satun card and just write Ranong in the message; we confirm its return time when you book.
How do changes and refunds work on the border run?
You can move the date if you tell us at least two days before departure. After that the trip cannot be moved, and the full price is kept. This is the supplier's rule, and we pass it on as it is.
One thing nobody can sell you is a guaranteed stamp. Whether you are let back in is decided by the immigration officer at the desk. Keep your passport, a ticket out of Thailand, your Phuket address and some cash ready, because those are the things officers ask about.
What is VIP Arrive at Phuket airport?
Someone meets you at the aircraft door, before the walk to the terminal, and stays with you through baggage and customs. It runs around the clock, so a 2 am landing is not a problem. The price is 4,500 ฿ per person, and children under 2 go free.
It makes the most sense after a long night flight with a small child, or with parents who should not stand in a long line. If you travel light and alone, you will usually be fine without it. The details are on the Phuket airport fast track page.
And VIP Departure?
On the way out you get an escort through the airport and a lounge to wait in. It costs 5,000 ฿ per person.
Both airport services need booking at least 48 hours before the flight. Send us the date, the flight number and how many of you are travelling, and say whether it is arrival or departure.
