Prices come straight from our booking system. Children under four join free on most trips — each tour page says so.

    Booking step by step

It takes one message and a couple of replies. No account, no form. Here's the order things happen in.

    • →Pick the format — the longtail day if you want to land on the rock and kayak, the sunrise skywalk if you want the view and a free afternoon
    • →Send the tour, the date, your hotel and the ages of everyone coming
    • →We confirm the programme, the total for your group and the pickup area
    • →Payment is agreed in the chat after the booking is confirmed
    • →The evening before, you get the exact pickup time

Which James Bond island trip to book

Three of our trips reach James Bond island, and they're booked the same way. The longtail day lands on the rock for an hour, kayaks into the caves and has a seafood lunch over the water before Koh Panyi; pickup 07:30 to 08:00, back on Phuket around 18:00. The sunrise skywalk trip collects you at 03:45, stands you on a glass bridge for the sunrise and passes the rock by longtail without landing, back at the hotel around 13:00. None of the three includes Samet Nangshe; Samet Nangshe and James Bond island in one day explains how to plan both.

The eleven-islands day lands on the rock at 10:20 by speedboat and then keeps going to Krabi and Phi Phi, home around 20:00. If you can't decide, is the James Bond island tour worth it sorts out who each one suits. Planning Phi Phi as well? Four Pearls or separate Phi Phi and James Bond day trips compares one two-day trip with two single days.

What to put in your first message

The tour name, the date and a backup date if you have one, your hotel's name, and how many adults and children there are, with ages. Something like: 'James Bond island and Phang Nga Bay, Thursday, two adults and a girl of seven', followed by the hotel.

Mention anything that changes the day for you. Seasickness, a bad back, a toddler. The kayaking suits any level, because a boatman paddles every kayak, but it's better to ask about your situation before paying than at the pier.

    What children pay

On this trip children under four travel free; our card says so outright. Children aged 4 to 9 pay the child price and from ten the adult price applies, the same bands as on our other tours. The full picture across all trips is on what children pay on Phuket tours.

Send ages, not 'two kids'. The age decides the price, and it decides the size of the life jacket too.

    Pickup: when and from where

We collect you from your hotel lobby between 07:30 and 08:00, and the exact time arrives the evening before. Then it's about an hour and a half by road to the pier in Phang Nga, where you board the longtail at 09:30. Transfer both ways is in the price.

On the way back the longtail reaches the pier around 16:30 and the drive takes another hour and a half, so plan dinner for after 18:00. How the van works on all our trips, including what to do if it's late, is on is hotel pickup included.

    How far ahead to book

For a regular group day like this one, a few days ahead is usually enough. Book earlier for holiday weeks and high-season dates, and earlier still for the sunrise skywalk version, because sunrise trips fill first. The reasoning is on how far in advance to book.

Put this day early in your holiday if you can. Bad weather can change the programme, and an early slot leaves room to move it.

Language: the booking and the guide

The booking happens in English, in the chat: programme, total, pickup time. This tour runs with an English-speaking guide. On this day in particular it pays off: Koh Panyi and the caves make much more sense with someone explaining them.

Paying, cancelling and what to bring

Payment is agreed in the chat after we confirm the booking. Ask about a deposit and the cancellation terms when booking, so you have the answer for your date in writing. National park fees and lunch are already in the price, so on the day you only need cash for souvenirs in the floating village, extra drinks and tips.

Bring comfortable clothes, shoes you don't mind getting wet, a hat, waterproof sunscreen, a towel, a waterproof phone case and a small backpack. Swimwear only if you want it. Still deciding whether the day is for you? Read is the James Bond island tour worth it. The same steps for the Krabi island day are on how to book the Krabi four islands tour. For the Similans, where the season decides first, see how to book a Similan islands tour. The same steps for the Phi Phi and Racha Yai catamaran are on how to book the catamaran.

Worth knowingEvery tour in our catalogue runs with an English-speaking guide. It's part of the booking, and the pier at half past nine is too late to arrange it.

    Questions people ask

How do I book the James Bond island tour?

In WhatsApp. Send the tour, the date, your hotel and everyone's ages; we confirm the programme and the total, and payment is agreed in the chat after the booking is confirmed.

    What time is hotel pickup?

Between 07:30 and 08:00. You get the exact time the evening before, and then it is about an hour and a half by road to the pier.

    What do children pay?

Under fours travel free. Children aged 4 to 9 pay the child price, and from ten years old the adult price applies.

Are national park fees and hotel transfer included?

Yes, both. The price also covers the longtail, kayaking with a guide, the seafood lunch, drinks, fruit and medical insurance.

Can I get an English-speaking guide?

Yes. Every tour in our catalogue runs with an English-speaking guide.

How far in advance should I book?

A few days ahead is usually enough for the classic longtail day. Book earlier for holiday weeks and for the sunrise skywalk trip, and keep a spare day in case the weather changes the plan.

What time do Phuket island tours return to the hotel?

It depends on the trip, and each tour card lists its own return time. On the classic James Bond island day the longtail is back at the pier around 16:30, then it's about an hour and a half by road, so you're at the hotel at about 18:00. The sunrise skywalk trip has you back around 13:00.
