Is Hotel Pickup Included on Phuket Tours?

Yes — hotel transfer both ways is included on almost every tour we sell. The exception is the jet ski tour, where you meet at AA Marina pier at 09:00; and on a couple of trips the far north or areas outside the list cost extra.

When will the minivan come?
It depends on how far your hotel is from the pier. On Phi Phi, Maya Bay and Khai island the pickup runs from 07:30 to 08:30 — hotels near Chalong are collected later, the northern areas earlier — and the guide confirms the exact time the evening before. On the Bamboo island and fishing day the van leaves around 06:50, with Patong, Kata and Karon collected first.
Sunrise trips go much earlier: 03:45 for the skywalk, four to half past four for Phi Phi at sunrise.
Which trips start the earliest?
The sunrise ones. The skywalk trip collects at 03:45, Phi Phi at sunrise between four and half past four, Racha at sunrise between 04:30 and 05:00, the early Similan boat between 04:00 and 05:00, and Secrets of Krabi between 05:00 and 06:00. The fishing boat collects between 05:30 and 06:30.
The civilised ones: Coral island from Rawai (meet at 08:30, hotel pickup before that), the sightseeing tour at 08:45, the Racha and Coral speedboat between 08:00 and 08:30, and Krabi tropical paradise with a 09:00 pier call. If your hotel is far from the pier, expect the early end of any window.
Where does the minivan drop me at the end?
At your hotel, the same place it collected you. Return times on our cards: Coral island from Rawai back at the pier at 14:00; the fishing boat at 15:00; Phi Phi at sunrise at 15:30; the classic Phi Phi day at Chalong around 16:15; the Racha and Coral speedboat at the hotels by about 17:30; James Bond island around 18:00; the eleven-islands day around 20:00.
Add the drive from the pier to your area. Plan dinner reservations with that in mind.
Are there areas that cost extra?
On two trips, yes. The Avatar world day charges 1,000 ฿ extra for the far north — Kamala, Surin, Bang Tao. The diving day includes transfer from Kata, Karon, Patong, Chalong, Rawai, Nai Harn and Kamala; from other areas it is 1,400–2,400 ฿, agreed with the dive centre in advance.
The Similan trips and the Cheow Lan lake day collect from Khao Lak as well as from Phuket.
What if the van is late?
Wait in the lobby and write to us in the chat. The minivan collects several hotels in a row, and traffic moves the times — on the sightseeing tour the card warns pickups can shift by up to two hours. We would rather you stay put than walk out to the road and be missed.
Be ready fifteen minutes early, with swimwear on and the bag packed.
How does the pickup actually work?
The evening before, you get the pickup time and, if needed, the meeting point in the chat. In the morning a minivan or coach comes to your hotel lobby — usually with other guests already inside, because the group is gathered from several hotels. The road to the pier takes half an hour to an hour and a half depending on where you are staying.
On the way back it works in reverse: everyone is dropped at their hotel, and those furthest from the pier get home last.
Is the transfer included on two-day trips?
Yes, both ways. On Phi Phi two days, Four pearls and Five pearls the minivan takes you to the pier on day one and brings you back to your hotel on day two. Pack a small bag for the night on Phi Phi Don and leave the rest at your hotel on Phuket.
Do you collect from the airport?
Not as part of a tour — the transfer runs from and back to your hotel. If you land on the morning of a trip, it is simpler to start the next day: the first morning usually goes on the road, check-in and a sim card.
Which trip has no pickup?
The jet ski tour. You meet at AA Marina pier at 09:00 for the handling briefing, and hotel transfer is not part of the price. Take a taxi or a ride-hailing app, booked the evening before.
