Two of our tours from Phuket stop at the Naka islands: the Krabi four islands boat spends about ninety minutes on Naka Yai as its first stop, half an hour after leaving the pier, and the four-hour jet ski tour snorkels over the reef at Naka island and has lunch on a beach on Naka Noi. Neither is a dedicated Naka trip; both use it as one stop in a longer route.

Naka Yai on the Krabi four islands day
This is the longer visit. You're at the pier at nine, the boat leaves at ten, and at half past ten you're on Naka Yai with about an hour and a half to spend. It's the first stop and the lively one, with water activities and beach games, before the quieter islands later on.
After Naka Yai the boat moves on to Pakbia, then Hong island for around two hours with a snorkel and the viewpoint, then Lao Lading, and the day finishes with a sunset on a sandbar, back at the pier at 18:30. Coach and boat transfer, lunch, soft drinks, fruit, a cocktail in a coconut, masks, snorkels and life jackets are all in the price. Booking sites sometimes confuse this Hong with the one in Phang Nga Bay; which Hong island is on a James Bond tour sorts it out.
Naka and Naka Noi on the jet ski tour
The jet ski tour is a different way to see the same corner. You drive your own jet ski from AA Marina pier at 09:00, after a briefing on how to handle it. Mali island comes first, then at 09:35 Naka island, where you snorkel over the reef; the snorkelling gear comes with the tour.
Later in the morning, at 10:45, you stop on Naka Noi for lunch and a rest on the beach before Phrae island's sandbar, Rang Noi and Rang Yai, and you're back at the marina at 12:45. There's no hotel transfer on this one, and the driver must be at least 18.

Which one to pick
If you want time on the sand, the Krabi day: an hour and a half on Naka Yai is the longest Naka stop we offer, and the rest of the day is easy beaches with shallow water at Pakbia and Lao Lading. It suits families and anyone who doesn't swim well, since life jackets can be worn all day, snorkelling included.
If you want the ride itself, the jet ski. It's four hours, it's over by lunchtime, and you see Naka from the water as well as from the beach. It isn't for children at the controls, and you'll come back soaked; the card asks you to bring a full change of clothes.
Getting there and booking
For the Krabi four islands day, the coach and boat transfer is included and we confirm your pickup time when you book. For the jet ski there's no transfer, so you make your own way to AA Marina for nine; the jet ski model is confirmed at booking.
