Who We Are and How Booking Works for Phuket Tours

By the PhuketGO tour desk on Phuket — we book and run these trips every week · Updated 13 October 2026

    Short answer

PhuketGO is a small team living on Phuket, and we sell the trips we run ourselves: island speedboat days, Phi Phi, the Similans, Phang Nga Bay, rafting and elephant days, fishing. Booking happens in a WhatsApp chat with our manager, and it counts only once the manager has written back that there are seats on your date. On the three trips in the table, hotel pickup, lunch, park fees and insurance are already in the price; children 4–9 pay less.

What is included on our three most-booked trips

Start with the early one. On Phi Phi at sunrise the van knocks at four, sometimes half past. Breakfast boxes (sandwiches, fruit, juice) wait at the pier at 05:25 and the boat goes at 05:50, so you see the sun come up from the water and get to Maya Bay around seven, ahead of the day boats. Lunch is on Phi Phi Don. Park fees, snorkel masks and insurance are covered, and you're back by mid-afternoon.

Racha and Coral by speedboat is the opposite: you sleep in. Pickup between eight and half past, a briefing at Chalong pier, then forty minutes across to Racha Yai and a long, lazy morning at Patok Bay. Lunch is on Coral island. The toys there cost extra and you pay on the spot: 1,000–1,500 ฿ for parasailing, 300–500 ฿ for the banana boat, 800–1,200 ฿ for half an hour on a jet ski. Back at most hotels around 17:30.

And if open sea worries you, James Bond island and Phang Nga Bay. It's road first, about ninety minutes after a 07:30–08:00 pickup, then a longtail between the cliffs from a pier in Phang Nga. Ko Tapu late in the morning, kayaks in the early afternoon (a boatman paddles; you just sit), seafood lunch over the water. Home around six.

    • →Sunrise at sea and Maya Bay before the crowds — Phi Phi at sunrise
    • →A late start and a short crossing with young children — Racha and Coral by speedboat
    • →Calm water, limestone cliffs and kayaks, no open sea — James Bond island

How a WhatsApp booking is confirmed

Four things are enough for the first message: which trip, which date, how many adults and children, and the area you are staying in. Give the children's ages separately. They decide the ticket, and on the long sea days they decide whether the route suits a small child at all. The exact hotel can wait until confirmation; Patong, Karon or Nai Harn already tells us roughly when the van will come.

Then the manager checks seats on your date and writes back. Until that reply the booking is not made, even if you filled in the form on a tour page and got an automatic answer. Payment is agreed in the chat after the booking is confirmed — by card, bank transfer or USDT.

For the confirmation we ask for the hotel name and room number, plus each guest's name in Latin letters as it is in the passport. The room number is practical: if you are not in the lobby, the driver asks reception to call your room. The names go on the passenger list, which the boat operator needs for sea trips. There is no paper voucher. At the pier the crew finds you by surname on that list.

    When the pickup time arrives

The evening before your trip, the pickup time and the contact of the person meeting you come into the same chat. If nothing has arrived by evening, write to us; it is better to ask than to sleep through the van. Be in the lobby fifteen minutes early, swimwear on, bag packed.

The van collects several hotels in a row, so the time depends on how far you are from the pier. From the south, Chalong is close. From Patong, Karon and Bang Tao you cross the hills whichever pier it is. From the north, near the airport, the east-coast piers are nearer than Chalong. Our hotel pickup page has the windows for every trip, and the only tour with no pickup at all is the jet ski tour, which meets at AA Marina pier at 09:00.

Which pier each trip leaves from

Chalong, in the south, handles the Racha and Coral speedboat, the Phi Phi and Khai island day and the sunrise fishing boat. Rawai, ten minutes away, is the pier for Coral island from Rawai, meeting at 08:30. Royal Phuket Marina is where breakfast and boarding happen on the eleven-islands day and on Five pearls. Two trips start off the island: the classic Similan boat boards at Tablamu pier after about an hour and a half by road, and the James Bond longtail leaves from a pier in Phang Nga.

You don't need to find any of them yourself, since the minivan drops you where your boat waits. If a friend tells you to just go to the pier, ask which one: Chalong and Ao Po are the width of the island apart. The full list, with what each pier is like, is on Phuket piers.

What happens if it rains or the sea is closed

A shower over your hotel changes nothing; wind and swell decide. When a storm warning goes up, the marine authorities close the sea to everyone at once, and the captain has the last word on the morning itself. If the sea is closed on your date, the trip moves to another day or the payment comes back. You hear it from us in the chat, the evening before or first thing in the morning.

The other side is simple too. If you cancel less than 24 hours before departure, miss the transfer or do not show up, the payment is not returned, because the seat, transfer and park fees were bought for you. Long open-sea routes such as Phi Phi and the Similans are called off first; Phang Nga Bay holds up longest. More on what happens when a tour is cancelled for bad weather.

Who we are, and where guests' own words are kept

We have no shop-front office, and you never need to come to one. Every trip starts at your hotel: the van pulls up at reception or at the gate of your complex. If you are in a villa that maps don't show, we agree a meeting point in advance, usually the nearest turn off the main road. The chat runs every day from 09:00 to 21:00 Phuket time. The partner companies behind our visa run, airport and cooking-class services, and what to check in the chat before paying, are on is PhuketGO legit.

What guests wrote after their trips is posted in full, with names and dates, in our Telegram channel and our Max channel. Each message there is the original post, not a quote we picked. They are written in Russian, so a translator helps.

Every tour in our catalogue runs with an English-speaking guide; do guides speak English lists them trip by trip. Children 4–9 pay the child price, from ten it is the adult ticket, and under-fours join free on most trips. Tell us about seasickness, back problems or non-swimmers when you write, and we suggest the boat to match. Send the tour, the date and your hotel in the chat, and we confirm the pickup time.

Worth knowingYour booking is the manager's confirmation in the chat, not the form or an automatic reply. If the pickup time hasn't reached you by the evening before the trip, write to us.

    Questions people ask

Is it safe to book Phuket tours through WhatsApp with PhuketGO?

Every step is in writing. You write to our manager, who checks seats on your date and confirms the trip, the pickup time and the total in the chat. Payment is agreed in the chat after the booking is confirmed,, in the same thread.

    Who runs PhuketGO and phukeo.com?

A small team based on Phuket that sells the trips we run ourselves: island speedboat days, Phi Phi, the Similans, Phang Nga Bay, rafting and elephant days, fishing. There is no shop-front office; every trip starts from your hotel.

    How is my booking confirmed?

By the manager's message in the chat once seats on your date are checked. There is no paper voucher: your name goes on the passenger list and the crew finds you by surname at the pier.

What happens if it rains on my tour date?

Usually nothing. A shower does not cancel a trip; a closed sea does. If the authorities close the sea, the trip moves to another day or the payment comes back, and we tell you in the chat.

    Is hotel pickup included?

Yes, both ways, on almost every trip we sell. The exception is the jet ski tour, which meets at AA Marina pier at 09:00. The pickup time comes in the chat the evening before.

Do you have an office I can visit?

No. Trips start at your hotel, and booking, confirmation and the pickup time all happen in the chat, every day from 09:00 to 21:00 Phuket time.

Where can I read what other guests wrote?

In our Telegram channel and Max channel, where guests' messages are posted in full with the original date. They are in Russian.
