# How Much Is a Coral Island Tour from Phuket for a Family?

**Short answer:** On the half-day Coral Island trip from Rawai, two adults and two children aged 4 to 9 pay 5,400 baht at the time of writing, with lunch, transfer and the park fee included. Children under four travel free. The table on this page always has the current prices.

## How is the family total worked out?

Let's do the maths on the [half day from Rawai pier](https://phukeo.com/en/tours/coral-islands-rawai). Adults are 1,400 baht, kids from 4 to 9 are 1,300. So two of each: 2,800 plus 2,600, which is 5,400 baht. Is one of yours under four? Then they're free and you pay 4,100. A ten-year-old already counts as an adult, sorry.

## What does that money cover?

On the half day from Rawai: air-conditioned transfer from the hotel and back, an English-speaking guide and crew, insurance, the national park fee, coffee and tea at the pier, lunch on the island, soft drinks, life jackets and snorkelling masks. Towels aren't included, so bring beach towels from the hotel.

The full Racha and Coral day adds the second island, fruit on board and island entrance fees. The sunrise trip adds breakfast boxes, deep-water fishing and the Comfort+ extras (towels, Wi-Fi, beer at the pier, wine and ice cream on return).

Snorkelling masks and life jackets are on board for everyone, children included.

## What will we pay on the day?

Only what you choose. Parasailing, the banana boat and jet skis on Coral island are run by beach operators and paid on the spot in cash. On the full Racha and Coral day the card lists them as roughly 1,000–1,500 baht per parasail flight, 300–500 for the banana boat and 800–1,200 for half an hour on a jet ski. None of it's part of the tour.

Add souvenirs and any alcohol, and that's all. Transfer surcharges, where they exist, depend on the trip and your area, and the manager names any of them in the chat before you pay.

## Which trip is best with young children?

The half day. A thirty-minute crossing, a shallow beach, lunch at noon and back at the pier at 14:00, before naps fall apart. The sunrise trip starts with a pickup at half past four and isn't recommended during pregnancy. ## What if the weather turns?

Island days run on the weather. Times are approximate, and the route can change on the day if the sea is choppy. If the authorities close the sea, the trip moves to another date.

Breakfast isn't part of the half day (coffee and tea at the pier are), so feed the kids at the hotel before the pickup.

Lunch is seafood and Thai dishes. If you've got a fussy eater, mention it in the chat when you book.

## How do we book?
