The bamboo raft is described on the card as calm, a slow float between green walls of jungle. The morning starts gently: photos among giant water lilies at the café at 08:30 and the white temple at 09:30. After lunch the Samet viewpoint gives a panorama over Phang Nga Bay, and the waterfall at 16:50 has emerald cascades in the jungle, cool water for a swim or a quiet spot to sit. At the end of the day the hot springs resort has a hot pool at around 40°C, an icy one at around 16°C and a freshwater pool, then the beach for the sunset. Bring swimwear for everyone, a towel, comfortable shoes for the jungle paths, sunscreen with a hat and sunglasses, mosquito repellent and a phone in a waterproof case. Pack a full change of clothes for the drive back after the springs.
